Service only counts if you can prove it. We built DirectFile around the evidence: who was served, where, when and how.

  • Every attempt on the record

    Each attempt is logged on site with the time, GPS location, photos and notes, and shows up in your portal as it happens.

  • A sworn affidavit per person

    For each person served you get an Affidavit of Service (Form 16B), sworn before a commissioner and ready to file.

  • All-in pricing, HST shown

    The per-person price includes the affidavit. Turnaround fees are flat and HST is itemized before you pay. No mileage charges.

  • Same-day when it matters

    Order before noon, Monday to Saturday, and we attempt service the same day. Standard and next-day options too.

    Orders, documents, attempt records, affidavits and invoices in one place, visible only to you and the team on your job.

  • Records that can’t be rewritten

    Attempt logs are append-only. Once recorded, an attempt can’t be edited or deleted; corrections are added as new entries.

How it works

From order to affidavit in four steps

    Place your order online

    Tell us who to serve and where, upload your documents as PDFs or photos, choose a turnaround and pay securely. You see the full price, including HST, before you pay.

  2. 02

    A process server is assigned

    Your job goes to a process server who covers that area. You can follow every status change in your portal or with the private tracking link we email you.

  3. 03

    Every attempt is recorded

    We make up to 3 attempts at different times of day. Each one is logged on the spot with the time, GPS location, photos and notes.

  4. 04

    You receive a sworn affidavit

    For every person served, the process server swears an Affidavit of Service (Form 16B) before a commissioner. You download it from your portal, ready to file.

One clear price per person served

Priced by the zone of the address. Each price includes the service and the sworn affidavit of service. HST is added at checkout and shown before you pay.

Personal service under Rule 16.02 of the Rules of Civil Procedure, or an alternative under Rule 16.03 where the Rules allow it, and the method used is stated in the affidavit.

Your data stays in Canada
Our database is hosted in Canada. Card payments are handled by Stripe, so we never see or store your card number.
